    If you're looking to get great pizza in York Nebraska of all places, Valentino's will not disappoint you. I have been stopping in York for the last couple months, and as soon as I get to the hotel I'm calling for delivery. My favorite is the Taco Ole' but I've had different ones and never let down. The staff are the best, friendly and helpful. I hope you have as great of a experience as I did and do every time. Tell Brandon Milo sent ya!
    So, today I am eating leftover Valentinos' pizza and I am thinking about why it's so good. The reason is the ingredients are top notch, I am sure you've heard better ingredients better pizza- well this is the best quality ingredients you could ask for. You just know when you take a bite that it's not mediocre it's delicious.

    You can't get worse service. I was in York on my way to Colorado, and I like to try local fare when I'm traveling. Even though Valentino's was kind of pricey, I decided to give it a go. My hotel was about 3 miles away from their restaurant, but because I don't know the area at all and I was very tired from being on the road for 8+ hours, I opted for delivery.

    They called me several times without leaving a message. After I got out of the shower and saw that they called, I called back and had to wait on hold while they got a manager for me. The manager said that they didn't have a driver, so I would have to come pick up the pizza. (I don't understand this..one person answered the phone, I could hear several other people in the background, plus the manager. Not a single one of these people could drive my pizza 3 miles to my hotel room?) Since I didn't want to get lost, and I was exhausted, I declined.

    The manager then said that she would get me the number for a closer Valentino's, a Valentino's Express or something like that. I said okay. The number she gave me was for a GAS STATION ABOUT 40 MINUTES AWAY. Are you kidding? Did the gas station service Valentino's Express? Yes, but why would I drive 40 minutes away for a gas station pizza?

    I was disgusted with her attitude and the ridiculously poor service offered by Valentino's in York. This is especially considering that I was obviously not from around here, and I mentioned that I had been traveling all day and really just wanted something to eat so I could go to bed.

    I ended up going with Pizza Hut, which was excellent.

    We visit my parents in Henderson often so we travel to York (and other close towns) when we want to eat out. We like their pizza. The crust isn't greasy, the sauce is good, and they put on just the right amount of cheese. Plus they have a nice salad bar. I would recommend them.

    I have only tried their pizza at one time, however, the house sauce that they put on the pizza is basically unseasoned and kind of reminds me of canned tomato soup.

    I have had much better frozen pizza.
